throwing a line on the grass today, picked up plenty of mud wondering if anyone has used baby wipes to remove the worst of the crud. and are they safe.

Should be fine. Mainly water based I think.

If it doesnt damage a babies ****, it wont damage a fly line.

roger beck who does fly fishing tution (lockwood) told me that dashboard wipes from the pound shop done him ..........they seem to work fine
