Default Salt resistant zingers and scissors?

I do alot of SWFF but am struggling to find zingers that last more than 1-2 yrs. Any suggestions?

I need good quite strong scissors or clippers, again salt resistant that will last a while. Suggestions?

The zinger you get with the Ketchum release has lasted me 8 years now. All plastic outside and I'm pretty sure there is no metal inside.

Found William Joseph clippers very good.

Not used in the salt though.

What about the shooting heads wiggy? Anything decided on?

i kept my original lines and brought some shrink tubing. After some practice with some old lines, i got the welded loops perfected and made my own fly line system. It works well, and saved myself some dough.

I'll have a look at those zingers and try some out. I guess zingers with most plastic parts is the best. What about the ceramic clippers? Any good?

Any of the stainless scissors should do, just remember to wash in fresh water, dry and lightly oil when you get back to the car.

As to zingers, try a coiled cord type, not quite as effecent but all plastic.

This.

Also, have a look at Dr. Slick products. May be somewhat of a spend but the quality is there and they'll hold up nicely in the salt. Anymore they can be found worldwide.

I have some Dr Slick saltwater pliers/clippers (£20 odd) and they are much better than some really expensive ones I have seen.

Hope this helps.
