Hi can anyone tell me were I might get a spool nut for a Dancia reel as the
Treads have worn down on the one I have.

If you mean Danica reels (not Dancia), i'd contact one of the main supplier ie: Fishtec, GAC etc.. from memory these may be Airflo products.

That's great lads thanks for the help

the danica reel is a great value but is let down by the black rubber washer,if you try taking the nut off you will have a devil of ajob getting it back on,just slip a new washer over the nut.

I think you'll find Ceri Thomas at tightlines.co.uk is the chap you're after.

If the reel is a Danica Techno it's exactly the same as a Vision 3zone, I've had several of these nuts which have been sent FOC from Vision at Selby.

There are 2 nuts one which holds the spool in place and one which adjusts the drag, they will supply both.

I think I should point out a couple of points about the Danica Compo.

The nut is intended to be captive.
If the O_ring is lubricated regularly, the spool changeover should happen with only a slackening of the nut.
The nut is NOT a drag adjustor .
