Found this rod among my late fathers stuff what would this be worth any idea ? Must be 30 years old how is this rod thought of

I have 5wt and 7wt was made only in 1981 and only this two kinds.
5wt is only 96g by 11'- amazing even for today... I still use it and for me is better than Sage, Orvis, Scott ect I have. Nowadays there are not such rods, why do they change it when is the best?
