I bought a sage 9 foot 4 piece rod in the classifieds yesterday without tube and sock. Don't know where to get a tube for it. I have sourced a place for sock but would like to try and get a matching tube and sock any ideas orleads? By the way its not necessarily a sage tube at all just something that protects the rod

See if local tackle shop has any plastic rod tubes. Normally about 6ft (1.8mts new money) in length, usually choice of two diameters, have end caps. Just need to cut to length of your rod. Should be no more than a couple of quid.
For years I had a Hardy 7ft 2 piece rod in a length of plastic sink waste pipe 1.5 inch dia with 2 sink plugs, one glued permanantly in the bottom, the top one just pushed in but attached to tube with length of old fly line.
