Default Sales or con. tricks?

I have noticed a reel for sale as a sale item at a price higher than I paid for it a year ago INCLUDING postage. The 'sale' price has a premium postage rate.
Have you noticed how tackle prices are significantly increased before a big sale discount is offered? So the sale price is not the bargain it is made out to be. I suppose that is what a retail qualification is all about!
Beware, things are not always what they appear to be.

A lot of sale items will be made with qualifications such as 'this item was offered for sale at the quoted price in one of our stores for at least 21 days'

Don't get me started on sales and marketing in particular. All designed to hoodwink or to remove every penny in your pocket, if you were to believe the hype.

As a perfect example of sly and inappropriate marketing. Take a look at the fruit juice advert on the telly at the moment for Innocence pure fruit juice. They show an Orange tree which is full of ripe Oranges ready for the picking. But also showing is blossom/flowers next to these oranges, anyone will tell you that any fruit would develope from these blossoms so why do they show them? thus treating - us the public, as numpties.

Rant over i'll get my coat

Errrm, I hate to tell you this, but some varieties of citrus trees can and often do have both blossoms and mature fruit on the tree at the same time.
