Hi. I have the choice of buying a Greys GTX no.1 or no.2 or an Orvis Battenkill III reel and they are all about the same price. They will be paired to an Orvis 5 weight rod and they are all used. Which do you think would be better. Many thanks.

Perhaps have a look at the weight and if that doesnt sway any decision then just go for whichever you like the look of the best.

I have a gtx no 1 it is not a light reel but the advantage is spare spools can be picked up for about £8. It will take a wf5 with some micro backing.
I use it with truefly sla 10ft 5 wt and it seems to balance that rod. Its not that great on my 8, 81/2 and 9ft rods of lower aftm's

Hello. Missed out on the used reels and I am now looking at new. Either the Leeda Profil or Snowbee XSD 460. Any thoughts, will be using a 5 or 6 line. Thanks.
