Default Scierra IC3 rods v Vision Rods

Anyone used either of these two products ?

Thinking along the lines of river , not stillwater .

Anything around the 8.5ft - 9.0 ft aftm 4/5.

Spend of about €90-140 ?

I have the Vision GT4 9ft #6 and it's a very good rod. Quite fast, but not uncontrollable.

Slightly out of that price range if I recall correctly, but you may pick up a deal.

Cheers,
Stewart.

I have the IC3 9' #4/5, a nice light rod, fairly fast, but not too stiff for casting a short line and nice to play a fish on, a good rod for the money. Only problem I've had with it is this season, the third one I've been using it, the sections are coming loose very easily when casting, this led to the top of one section cracking, I sent it back to be repaired which it has been, but it still comes loose and it a pain checking it every couple of casts, I'm going to try wax to see if it will help. This problem is probably a one off, it is a nice fishing rod.
