looking for a fly line that will go well with my loop evotec 9ft 6 7wt looking for something that will present good turnover at distance, was looking at the rio gold or the rio grand, or a barrio gt 140 as they have good reviews . Any suggestions will be very helpful.

I have the 9ft 5wt mf Evotec which is easily my favourite 5wt. For light presentations and dry fly fishing I have found the eyebrook supa slick fly line a superb line, especially for the price. I'm not sure who manufactures this line but it sure is something special

For more aggressive casting situations where I am trying to cover as much water as possible I use the Opti stillwater line, you can pick up and fire it out within one cast cutting down massively on false casting. It does come as a price though so if you are patient then ebay may be your best bet, they do pop up from time to time and often go for as little as £20 new.
