In what way do you feel it could be better?

What is your budget?

Are you after a slow inter or fast inter?

Dont get me wrong ive used cortlands for the last few years and really do like the clear idea of the line but i feel it doesnt shoot very well and you have to really work hard at it to get it to shoot , it seems to grip onto the rings . the rods i used before the sage the line seemed to be ok but i think it must be something to do with the guides on this rod ?
Ive tried cortlands blue inter and think it shoots great but i just dont like the idea of blue line as it seems to stand out a mile ..altho i do know lads who use it , im just not to keen on it .i think the braid core must be the reason why its shoots so well with my rod ? ...so thinking about another line .
Regarding sink rate im after a line with a sink rate roughly the same as the cortlands around 2ips...
Budget wise , i havent actually set my self one ....what are you thinking like ?
Many thanks

Airflo Sixth Sense Fast Glass?

Cracking line but not cheap.

The Sewincaster lines are designed for Sea Trout fishing:

Fly Fishing Tuition with Illtyd Griffiths, Mid-Wales | Sewincaster

I haven't fished one of these on a TCX 10' #7, but I would be surprised if Iltyd Griffiths, the line designer, has not tried that combo. You will find Iltyd's details at the bottom of that page.

Good price on the lines here:

Airflo Sewin Caster Lines - Fly Lines Fishtec

I have no connection with either Iltyd or Airflo

Thanks for the advice guys ,
I was actually gona say do you think it might be a good ideaa to move up a line weight to a 8 . I have been told this a few times ,
i just thought it was a bit strange why i should have to do this if the rods rated at a 7 , i know it would handle bigger flies better and probably load the rod alot quicker which i think would benefit me . but i was just inclined to do this as its a 7 weight .
thank again

I love casting and fishing Barrio GT90. Because of long rear taper the line loop stays in form when 60ft of line is out so very long and accurate casts are possible. Of course when wind and back cast room allows. But GT90 shoots OK when only 45ft of head is out because line gets constantly thinner after 30ft. It does not shoot as well as a shooting head of normal short rear tapered WF line but GT90 is very good overall fishing line for modern fast and powerful rods. It is very cheap too.
