Orvis (for the moment) tends to be a bullet proof warranty with exceptional customer service, Greys tend to make it up as they go along.

Not knocking anyone; have always said right from the outset that this lifetime warranty idea would put tackle prices through the roof (rods mainly), instill anglers with unrealistic expectations and send some tackle companies down the rocky road to ruin.
