Default advice on line please

Could someone advise me of a good line which would suit a sk3 9ft6 6-7wt floater and sinker or would i be better off with an intermediate than a sinker the lakes i fish are about 15 - 20 ft, have been looking at barrios and p,pirates but am unsure, the sk3 line i got with the reel is like a snake and even when stretched wont lay straight and although im not great at casting seems to be awful to the side of ones i have used with my other rods. Also id like a 5wtF to suit an odyssey xt 8ft6 for nymphs and small river work. THANKS

On that SK3, go for a #7 line, if the Oddysey is a #4/5 rod, get a #5 line, if it is the #5/6 rod, get a #6 line.

This blatant touting for business is cringeworthy at best.

Trade members have a section to plug their merchandise, plus we have the ability to purchase banner ads with links to our threads or web sites.

Other sections should be left well alone, especially where people are asking for impartial advice. If we trade members mention our products, then we are not being impartial, that is pure bias.

Appreciate times are tough but if every trade member went on to a particular thread where someone was asking for help and advice and started plugging their wares, this place would end up a right old circus.

Members are already hammered from every side with advertising, they don't need us ruining threads by ramming our products down their throats as well.

The Pirate.
