Default Problems with a Zenith

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone's having problems with their Hardy Zenith rods? My mate's got a 10' #7 and the top of the handle is very creaky, feel's slack infact. He's not on the forum so I thought I would see if anyone else has had this problem?

I have a 10' #6 but have only used it twice, certainly no issues as yet. Perhaps a call to Hardy to discuss the problem is in order?

Send it back. Over rated rod in terms of quality and price and performance in my opinion especially the 9ft 5wt, Yellowstone must have been given a few free ones. That reel seat is a shocker. I have heard a few moans about them but I would think hardy will sort it out.

Each to there own I guess

The demo one I cast was the same. Very loose cork.

I thought the 10ft for a 7 was ****. Totally dead in the hand.

9ft 5 weight was nice, but not in the same league as a Helios.

Not tried the sage one yet. If I remember Yellowstone retested the sintrix against the one and zA and still plumbed for the sintrix.

I spend to much on fishing already so I am going to stop trying new stuff.......for now .
