The last ten years have seen me wearing Orvis from the el cheapos to the top of the range .yeah they all leak somtime just like all the others ,but an outlay some decade ago has kept me mostly dry ,that guarantee is cast iron (at the moment) .

I've got Silver label III stockingfoot waders (not sure if "classic" or not??).

They were replaced under warranty in July so I expect they are the latest model.

Good points include:
1. the large choice of different sizes (I'm only 5' 9" but with size 9 feet and a fairly short inside leg (29-30") - very little choice in waders that come anywhere near!!)
2. the warranty (The July replacement was the second in 3 years - absolutely no quibble - not even asked for a receipt. Point to note is that I orignally bought the cheaper ones (Endura??) but got a free upgrade on first replacement as they didn't have my size in.)
3. Fold down brilliantly in warm weather.

Only bad point I've found is that the shoulder straps are attached to the waders at an elastic cord arrangement that goes round the upper chest - not the most comfortable in summer if you are only wearing a thin shirt (but see good point 3 above (which is why the strap is designed this way I expect)).

hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies,i know given time all waders will leak no matter how much you pay for them that is one of the reasons i was drawn to orvis because of there after sales service.
