Default shoulder bag

hi

i like to travel light and am looking for a smallish shoulder bag that i can use for reel, flys etc.
as said, i do travel light with the minimum of gear....any recommendations?

this is an example and seems quite decent at a reasonable price?

id prefer a bag to be honest, only go fishing for an hour or two and would be better to keep in my boot.
i did have a lovely barbour shooting/game bag but my son snaffled that and they are a little expensive.

thanks

I have the small Snowbee trout bag (16220 Trout Bag - Small, ie the baby brother of the one you've linked to) which is a really neat little day-kit bag. It's more of a 3D shape with a plastic bottom piece which I prefer as it sits upright on a boat surface and you can reach into the compartments and flaps easily. If you prefer something that packs flatter against you as you walk something more of the traditional canvas bag shape might suit better, but I always find I'm rummaging around (unsuccessfully) for things in the bottom of that kind of design, and I don't like them on boats as you put them flat and things spill out.
