Default Book for Christmas
Anyone suggest a good fly fishing or tying book that my dear mum could buy me for Christmas?

I have a couple from Gathercole, Bob Wyatts one, and the Fish and the Fly by goddard, and a couple on entomology.

Any recommendations of the tops of your heads boys?

I found it a nice change from most books which seem to be aimed at beginners.

Have them both mate, so opted for a new fly line. I like Lucas, but his book grated a little, with his constant referrals to the quality of Hardy and Greys gear. He also seems to make mountains out of molehills, but i will still read it again soon. If you havent read it, try Bob Wyatts book, but make sure you own some deer hair and Hare's ear first, cos he uses them an awful lot.....tks
