Default sonik sk3 6-7# or 7-8#

Which rod would you say for still waters of all sizes and all round work both are 9ft 6

The #6/7 is a great rod. If you like medium fast progressive flyrods you will like it. It casts very smooth, it reminded me castingwise to the old Sage SP rods. Have fun with it

Yep. #6/7. No need for the bigger one. I have the 6/7 myself and it is so light you'd think you were holding a #5. Lovely rod for the money and casts beautifully.

hi mate i have a sk3 6/7 great rod only one fault i used one of the new airflo shooting head lines in a 7 and it cast well though its a bit heavy on the tip now it really performs well with a 6wt though

Cheers all for the advise ive just got one with a sk3 reel and two lines and backing new with postage for £101 which i think is a bit of a bargain.
