Default Airflo Balance Fly reels

Hi, I've just seen Kieron's reminder that he's got a last few of these left. Has anyone got any feedback on how they are in use? Thanks.

Iused to have a 7/9 and had no probs with it ,I had 7wght lines with just 100yds of 20lb backing on mine and didnt have any trouble with the line getting caught, however my dad used to like to fill his spools up and he did have trouble with the line getting caught. There is a gap between the spool and the body of the reel and with a well filled spool sometimes the line can jump over into the gap.Istill have a 3/5 model for the river and have had no probs with this one either.Nice and light drag more than good enough as well.
Steve.

I have recently bought the 3/5 model (I use it with 3 a weight line), used it twice and caught fish to 2.5lb - the drag is good and smooth. IMO there is no way it is worth the RRP but at the price they are at now (Fishtec) I would say that they are a good buy

I recently bought one and followed the advice on here in regards to over filling the spool. It is possible to get the line trapped if you allow your line to become untidy and loose,so in a way it makes you more aware of what your line is doing.Have only used mine for stillwaters with a WF#7 slow sinking and have had no problems, the reel foot only just fits on my Sonik SK4 so that is worth checking.
Regards,Colin.
