Unhappy Help if you can please...

I have broken the top section of my Wychwood Truefly 7ft, 3 section aftm 3/4 rod. If any of you lovely people has a solution for me, in the shape of a replacement, I will be overjoyed.

BTW. I tried repairing it and now it is completely **** ed.

Hoping you can help.

Have you tried wychwood for a replacement section.

Yes I have Jim & on the face of it it looks OK, they can supply a replacement section for £25. However, they will only sell through one of there dealerships. the dealership has to pay postage from Wychwood to them, and then charge carriage from them to me. All of which adds upto pretty much the price of a new rod. Crazy ain't it.

Sad to leave 2 sections of a rod that I liked to use mouldering in the tube.

The hope is that one of you guys may come up with a solution.

Pretty crazy system.unusual for Wychwood ,who are a pretty clued up company.

It would seem that it is more about protecting their dealerships markets than it is about service to the customer.

Maybe there is a Wychwood supplier on here that could help.........

Wychwood now sell spares direct to the customers [obviously dependent on stocks] please call 0800 1300621 - hope that helps mate
