Default Right-Left hand wind conversion

I know of many people struggling with the conversion of R-L hand wind and vice versa. I know it has probably been covered here before, but i have a few video tutorials of how to change between left/right, right/left hand wind.

Fly Fishing Reel conversions

Most makes and models have been chosen - Airflo, Enigma, Greys, Wychwood, Daiwa, Scierra, Vision and Hardy.

Nice one Kieron.

We had a game angling tackle shop for many years and always asked customers which hand they would retrieve with and then converted the reels free of charge as part of the service.

Unfortunately there are still many shops selling fly reels who do not do this and just earlier this week I checked a client`s new outfit to find that the shop had loaded backing and line for left hand wind but had left the reel in right hand wind mode I`m sure there will be plenty of grateful forum members who will use those clips to ensure they have the reels set up correctly.

Thanks Bob, I think we offer that through the shop too.. although supplies need to be purchased.. backing, loops etc. But setting up the fly reel the correct way should be the least a shop can do before the customer leaves!

I hope the videos have proved useful to some
