Most uncomfortable boat seat I have ever had the pleasure to sit on.

I have the Airflo Comfort Zone Deluxe and find it very comfortable. I'm about 12 stone, medium sized. I got an ex-display model for less than £100. Room in the bag for a life jacket and drogue too.

I find both the standard and the deluxe Airflo Comfort zone boat seats to be great.

Although being comfortable, one problem I personally find with the TLD is that they are pretty wide, having to spread your legs wider than comfortable (sometimes).

The comfort zone deluxe has the new collapsing system, where the extendible frame pushes together in two places, folding to around 3feet! Great for the car and comes with a carry bag which holds a few other things as previously mentioned.

Cheers, Kieron

Not experienced this, as your legs spread is only governed by the width of the board below it on the TLD

Only if you sit on the seat when its facing directly forward, if it's at a slight angle for some reason and your sitting with each legs each side of the board. Which as I stated, not very comfortable for me.

One problem too is some boards in the boats are too low (llandegfedd), causing legs to be in an awkward position all day, great on somewhere like Rutland though.

Build your own TLD Delux using these bits and save yourself 40-50 quid.

Seat Swivel - Single Boat Seat Swivel Mild Steel | eBay

Helm Seat - Folding Boat Seat in Blue | eBay

Tight Lines Boat Seat Upgrade - Boat & Float Tube Fishing Fishtec

If you spend a bit of time on fleabay you will probably find cheaper bits - I've just picked the 1st ones that came up in a search.

Hi G,

I also made my own by fixing a TLD to an old Rutland Frame via the seat swivel. After around 5 years of use, Im now looking at getting the Comfort Zone Deluxe... For convenience and comfortability.
