Default Which Hardy glass rods were made in single hand #10

Could someone of Hardy rods experts here wrote which of Hardy glass single hand flyrods were made in #10? If it would be possible, lenghts of those rods would help a lot too.

Thank you,

Back of the tackle cupboard there is a Fibalite 10' for #10 line ,purchased from the much loved Benwoods early 70s and used for several seasons with the then fashionable 30ft shooting heads ,cant see me trout fishing with that monster again !

Border River is this a glass rod? I tried to locate Favourite glass Fly rod but all i found was Graphite Favourite.

ACW would you know the weight of this rod? Interesting to see such a long glass fiber 10. Is the handle true single hand or some sort of bigger handle to accomodate 2 hand casting as well?

Jet series are very interesting however i am not able to fins any specific data on heavier rods offered in that series.

Btw.

I have a soft spot for Hardy glass so if someone would have one for sale, pm me. At the moment i am looking for something betwen #7 and #10.

William Powell in Birmingham 0121 643 0689 did used to have a Hardy Invincible 10' 6" for sale. New! You'll also sometimes find glass Hardy rods at Walker of Trowell...who also have a casting pond to try it out on.

Hope this helps.

The rod is no lite weight ,soon as I got carbon it went to the back of the cupboard ,it was a home build and accepted a screwin extension handle which allowed double handing ,and made it fishable with a fixed spool ,in fact it landed several largish thames barble .
If you are in the London area you would be welcome to it ,dont have any concept of needeing anything like it again .Datchet days convinced me that for LC shooting heads the 9.3 length was the way to go !

I have just checked it and you are correct it is Graphite. I was getting it mixed up with my Richard Walker Superlight 9'3'' # 7/8
