It doesn't surprise me Mark.

If the guy is happy marketting his lines with a small profit margin, unlike many other firms then he's not just in it for the money.

Makes you wonder how Snowbee justify charging nearly 3X as much

Another fan of the line, here. Used it for the first time last week and loved it and he also seems like a bloody nice chap!

been using a wf6 barrio floater on the rivers recently and i agree it is a brilliant line. I''ve found it turns over heavier flies better than one might expect too.

Default Barrio Lines

Cant fault them , been using the line for 2 seasons , The best floater on the market IMHO and I've paid 3 or 4 times the price for lines that are now holding up the runner beans

Regards

I have a floater in 6#, works great in the salt - no problems to date.

the line casts well and floats brilliant. For the price and service , I cant fault it in anyway.

Regards
Mike

I can only speak as I find and although I really, really, really wanted to like the Barrio floater for all the reasons given above, I have now reluctantly decided to go back to the Snowbee XS floater.

The reason? While I found the Barrio to be at least equal to the Snowbee in almost every department at half the price, the Snowbee has the knack of flattering poor casters like me into believing we can cast!

I can consistently fish at 25 metres plus with the Snowbee but struggled to put even 20 metres of the Barrio through the rings.

So to sum up the Barrio is an excellent line at an unbelievable price which probably makes it the best floating line around for most applications, but if like me you aren't a particularly good caster but distance is an important part of your fishing, then in my opinion the Snowbee is the better choice.
