Default 40+ Extreme or Expert??

Evening All,

I've wondered.....whats the difference, apart from the colour of the running lines?

I've heard mixed reports about the "Extreme" versions, having poor running lines, where they tangle easily, but dont most sinking lines tangle in the bottom of the boat at some point when they dry out during that important leader change...

Is it personal preference or is there a difference to be benifited from?

Any experience/knowledge appreciated?

Keep A`Howld..

Neither Carl, go for the Delta range.

Tightlines!

Extreme has a ten yard head but falls to bits after 2 months. Expert has a much longer head and so is harder to cast but lasts better.

Both now have ridge running lines so may have changed and I have not seen this version.

Vision Extreme Distance is a superb alternative in all but fast sink versions.

I had the extreme lines and couldn,t get used to them at all. When throwing a long line the join kept hitting the rings.

After a day afloat with john horsey in ireland, he suggested I try the EXPERT LINE. I bought a Di5 40 plus and a Di7 40 plus. The difference was amazing. Cheers John.

I agree with the Pirate the delta range is also superb.
