Anybody got any tips on what the best floatant is to use on these?

Wont be using it as a sinker at all want it to float permanetly

If you can find Loon Hydrostop "soak and let dry overnight" also try Scotchguard, use the same way.
One more is Water Shed and let dry overnight.
Floor wax works well but you will have to redress it after a number of casts/hours.
