We are a specialist retailer selling the finest quality fly tying materials from around the globe.

The business began by our need to source the best quality materials for our own tying needs.

Therefore within our business we have a a few simple rules

• If we use and like a product then we will stock it.
  
• All the materials on sale have been used by ourselves in tying our own flies or flies for sale and therefore can throughly recommend them to you.
  
• Most of our materials are purchased from direct sources (producers) and they will be sorted and graded by us, and also for many products we will also undertake the dying of materials to acheive an extensive colour range unavailable elsewhere.
  
• We are proud of the fact that we personaly handle all of the materials carrying the Fly Tying Shop logo as it means we can insure the quality and consistency in each and every product carrying our logo.
  
• As we source most of our materials directly it means that we can quite often offer products at prices below other retailers. In fact if you see a product cheaper elsewhere (recognised mail order catalogues and e-commerce sites only) please let us know and we will either match or beat the price if we can.
  
• We currently stock around 2000 products and our aim is to grow the business by stocking at least 1000 - 2000 new products each year.

Having said this we are a small business but we are expanding rapidly and from each sale we are investing the majority of our revenue into stocking more products so please keep returning to see these new products.
