We are a long established company founded in 1985 by master angler Mr. Albert Atkins. Albert fished competitively for Ireland for over 10 seasons and supplied fishing tackle and specialist salmon flies to anglers across the UK. In 2008, Atkins Angling partnered with Export Technologies and launched the business online and quickly started selling to anglers all over the globe. The enormous success of the newly launched Atkins website, produced new challenges and demands and following Albert's retirement in 2010, the business was sold to two local business partners who have an interest in both angling and technology. The new owners quickly realised that to be successful online, they had to prioritise, time and resources on providing quality products at competitive prices with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The Atkins team has experience in all disciplines of fishing and is passionate about the sport. The team dedicate a lot of time and effort into selecting a range of products that have a valued reputation for quality and durability. As a rule, we do not sell products that we do not have confidence in. We stock thousands of specialist quality items and are continually adding to our product range. Current lines include Hoggs of Fife, Loop, Shimano, Shakespeare, Scierra, Diawa, Wychwood, Flybox, Kamasan and Cortland to name but a few.
