Default River Dearne

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has ever wet a fly on the Dearne, say between Haigh and Mapplewell? When I was a kid I caught plenty of Brownies up to 4lb on bait but despite living within 5 minute walk of it my whole life I've never tried to fly fish it. Any advice would be great, if nobody has, I'll just grab my rod and wander up stream

Thanks

Mat
