Default How small is small

Having fished some pretty small streams in the past, I was wondering just how small you can go. My last stream was the Clun at Clunton, and yes in parts I really could pee across it. Great fun with the tiny grayling in there..........like lightning on the dry fly. It certainly sharpened up the reflexes. What's your smallest?...................birdsnest

All small streams (especially the natural wild streams) will alter in shape as they trundle along! Our mountain stream has some really narrow sections, where you can place the left foot on one side of the stream; and your right foot on the other side! But, there are one or two places that will get as wide as 7ft, or maybe a little wider? although, most of the stream is 4ft, or so wide.

It is a perfect natural wild stream!

Do you just have to fish it? Or do you have to catch as well? And is peeing a good measure?

Because last time I peed across a stream I got all tangled up in the barbed wire on the other side. Of the field.

Yeah, right ..............maybe I have just formulated a new index for small streams...........they may be a 1P'er or a 2P'er or even a 3P'er for the more advanced............................birdsnest
