Default Going lightweight

Hi All, I'm thinking of investing in a new lightweight set-up. I was tinkering with the idea of a four weight. Any suggestions?

Regards

3-5 weight comes in as medium weight.. 0 - 2 is lightweight and 000 - 0 is ultralightweight.

Apparently..

I don't know what your budget is but I was thinking about a Shakespeare Odyssey 7ft 4/5wt. £25 plus a pirate line for £16.50.

Anybody used this combo who would like to comment?

What length rod; and where you going to use it? River, Stream or one of those big ponds (reservoirs)

1, stream 7ft, #2/3, weight

2, river 8ft.6in, #4, weight

3, Lake 9ft to 10ft.6in, #6/7, weight

#2/3, weight is a lightweight set up!
