I'll just get my excuses in straight away...

95% of my flies are stillwater/reservoir flies and desperately need to put a river fly box together when funds allow.
Now my vice is sorted again (that'll be another post) once funds allow I'll attempt to tie what I can.
That's two unknown streams/rivers fished with you in less than favourable conditions, on my 7th or 8th venture on to a river.
I caught with Coasty maybe he's a taller/better guide...

And I used your 8ft 4# rod instead of my 9ft 6#, by the way if you get rid first dibs please... Was a pleasure!
I was just totally overcome by the whole day, the scenery, location, THE FISH we saw, sort of says it all really

and the 4hrs driving. Well worth it though

And your only bitter because you didn't get any tree trout porn pictures
Is that a man bag your hiding up your vest or is it packing ready for the day when I catch one more than you...

(I'm allowed to dream)

An abundance of quality fish and many of them in slower open water, but in those conditions and my size 10 boots and dodgy casting I soon sent them off up and down the stream, no wonder "Yoda" caught! Although I did end the day with four solid tugs felt with the hand and seen at the (mrtrout hi-viz) furled leader, but none stayed on for much more than a second or two, or is that just me exaggerating.
Anyway it's a absolutely fantastic place and good company once again with "Yoda". Here's some of my photos not quite "David Yoda Bailey" be warned Ribbleman every time you get a chance have a look over your shoulder and he's like the river paparazzi with his camera! Oh and I'm very jealous I'm not coming back in better conditions this weekend I'm off after pellet pigs at Westlow with Canadakid again. But I will be back 100% cast iron guarantee...
Yoda at our starting point where a number of brownies were seen...
No more than 6" from a path, even the sheep could have stepped on these, I nearly did...
Cheers Yoda for another memorable day in such a wonderful place!!!
