Default Rules for Posting Your Small Stream Log

It's just an idea, but rather than throw all your experiences onto the end of the Small Stream thread, could they not be posted under separate headings?

This would prevent older posts from getting lost in a huge thread..

I would also suggest that they are always titled as, for example, Small Stream Log: <steam name here><dd.mm.2010> so that a thread search on "Small Stream Log" will pull all of them up with ease and put them in a decent order.

If we reach a rough consensus on this, then I'll edit this post and ask admin to put it up as a sticky.

A rough consensus means that I will be in charge, but other people will be in charge too, although some other people might have been in charge and the ones in charge may not be in charge later but for now it's important to be in charge even though I'd rather be singing 'Cactus in my Y-Fronts' on your grave.

Makes sense. Personally I find it a bit out of kilter with the rest of the forum at the moment. To your credit that you are willing to take it on. Alan

Its a good idea Marmalade. But you dont let the power go to your head, maybe we should have two people in charge it seems to be all the rage at the moment...

Just to clarify, I didn't mean moving them out of the small streams forum, just out of the thread that is now heading for 100 pages..

Mostyn, maybe we could have some sort of alliance about his?Have your factor call my factor.
