Hi there huys and gals

I know of the Coln at Fairford but was just wondering if anyone knew of some dayticket stream fishing within an hours drive of Oxford. Will hopefully join a syndicate next year so wont have to worry but atm i have to make do with dayticket waters.

Ideally i would like to fish for "relatively" wild fish but i have a feeling they may be hard to come by in my neck of the woods.

there is the River at Wherewell which is dayticket and the river at denford which should all be within an hour of oxford.

Cheers, if you are talkting of the Wherwell on the Test i am actually off there on the 7th and 14th of May with Hugh O'Reilly for a couple of days grayling fishing so hopefully should get some more river practice.

Denford i have fished with Andy Wren recently and must say it was fantastic. However i think their trout season prices are well out of my budget unfortunately at around £80 a day.

Bring on next winter and some more grayling days.
