Hi folks,

does anyone know of a WF line that would go with a Sage TXL 1wt rod?

I have a DT line, which is great where there's a little more room to cast, but in very dense foliage, I'd prefer something that loaded the rod a little faster.

why not try something like the Sage Ultimate Performance Taper Quiet Double taper in a 2 wt...

Agree with Icky- the Sage Quiet taper was designed for the TXL and suits it well.

I didn't like the old Sage Quiet taper lines i had them on both the SLT #1 and the TXL#1, maybe the new ones are better because Sage ownes Rio now.. I also thought the only taper the QT was available in was the DT..
If it was me i would go with the LT from Rio, slick, durable and super supple, not for all rods but it makes sense on the TXL's, well so my buddy says... He has all the Sage ultra lites (most of them he bought of me) from the SPL down to the TXL's..
