Default Attractor Drys ?

Hi Guys

Im very new to river fishing and using drys flys i only tie a small number of patterns.

I tied a few "Attractor" type drys ............so far the Royal Coachman in size 10 has been amazing at winckling out a fish when NOTHING seems to work !

Its not caught me the most fish or the biggest fish but it has saved me from a blank a number of times !

Click the image to open in full size.

Not the neatest fly ever tied but boy a lifesaver !

Just wonder what "Attractor" style drys work for you ?

The fly looks good to me. It will certainly attract trout.

One of the classics and it does always seem to work. Buddy of mine use to replace the white with florescent orange and swore it worked even better that way.

Take care
