Any quality streams in Harrogate area?

Does anyone know of any nice streams in the Harrogate area where I can fish without getting the waders on? I live about 10 miles away so could be ideal.

The only small streams I know - quite a few- all necessitate waders.

I lived in HG2 for many years and never heard of anything like that. I look forward to being proved wrong, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
Might be worth having a chat with Barry in Linsley's (Tower St, just off West Park, behind Blacks camping store). If there's anything like it in the area there's a good chance he'll know.
