Default Breich Burn

Well I finally managed to get out on this little bit of water!! I was astonished at how 'red' the water ran... It was actually blood red. Anyone know what the reason for this may be??

Well anyways I had few nice fish, although I did loose a nice one. Conditions werent great but all of them were on a size 18 dry tied/invented by myself.

Comments welcome!!!

Picking up iron contamination, probably from an old mine, the area has lots of them.

Fished it from near the 5 sisters up the way? I chapped the farmers door a couple of weeks ago for permission, and he wasn't even aware there was any fish!! Am I correct in saying no one owns the rights?

The breich burn has no rights , You can fish it for free , Try the fauldhouse stretch around greenburn golf club , Cracking trout to be had south of the railway tunnel.

Cut my teeth on this little burn , Small dry black spiders are great when trout are rising.

Cheers
