It used to have nice trout.

Wirral Game have the right bank of the Lledr for most of the first couple of miles up from its confluence with the Conwy, opposite the Gwydyr water, including Ty'n y Cae on the Conwy. It is a very fine salmon beat but needs lots of water on to fish well. It's already yielded four salmon in three hours to one member this season and has yielded six in a day on more than one occasion over the past few years.
Prince Albert have a stretch at Dolwyddelan a bit further up but I'm not sure who else has water or day tickets as none of the clubs offer day tickets but the Gwydyr Hotel does sometimes sell them.
