Default Which Hardy rod for small streams?

Well I have to admit that I'm a Hardy hore. There, I admitted it

I currently have a split cane (american made, can't remember the guy's name), and it really doens't fit into my 'Hardy Repertoire'. A luxury problem I know, but I'd really love a Hardy rod for this type of fishing.

The only criteria is that the rod is Hardy. Can be glass, cane or carbon. Old or new, though I do have a soft spot for the 'older' hardys. I have for example, elite, deluxe graphite, etc.

The rod should be roughly 6-7ft #3.

I appreciate all answers

Nothing to be ashamed of being a Hardy hore (hoare) . Hey I'm one to! Not intentionally, but they seem to have sneaked in to my collection .

Not sure which is my lightweight favorite...could be the 8' 4# Ultralight or the 7' 3# Classic Featherweight. The 7' is absolutely fab on small streams, makes me smile everytime I put it together. Super light, well finished and easy to load and cast. Can't imagine ever wanting anything else.

Chris.

Hi,
I used the Hardy Marksman, 7' 3 weight recently on my local small rivers, cast like a dream, really loved the rod.
Cheers
Richard

Would have to be the 7' #3 Classic Featherweight for me. Awesome small stream rod and a dream to cast

Also love the 6' #2 Classic Flyweight!!

I think around £200 will have to be my max I can use on the rod, though lesser the better.

I've no problem in buying used either.
