I was given one of these as a gift from my son last year.

Great little rod, and I often find myself reaching for it in preference to my others. Fantastic fun to use, ideal if you fish small streams and brooks, but equally functional on larger waters too. very good value IMHO

I use one of these. The cheaper one with the lighter black alloy seat.

Beautiful rod. I use a 5/6 LA reel(for less memory) with snowbee WF2FDP line, and it casts really tight loops. Seems to cast very tight loops with beadheads...which makes me believe what I read somewhere else...It may prove better with a 3wt line...I shall try to afford a DT3 for more resistant flies.

I'd like to know If you've bought it, what you think of it...or if you havent...buy it and slap some electricians tape on the holographic logo. lol

Nice rod for my local brook...Tried it on a stillwater once for a giggle, but packed up soon after.

Hi, I am just starting on the rivers and streams also , I bought a Crazy River 7ft 3#, when I assembled it it was like a dogs hind leg (it was kinked on each joint) this was bought off Ebay.
I sent it back, got a refund and bought a Wychwood 7ft 3-4# for £45 inc delivery and a Cordura tube, it's spot on.

A rod that gets overlooked is the Snowbee Classic 6 ft #2/3. Yes it's cheap and it's got a plastic reel seat but stick a line on it and fish with it and all that falls away . A great starter rod until you want some bling.

cheers

Al.
