Has any one fished this in recent years? As I live in Longridge there is a decent stretch very close. All google searches only provide out of date info.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Brannan,
Never fished it?
Would hazard a guess neither has anyone else recently?
Seems to be overlooked and too easily dismissed.
I live in Fauldhouse and pack up the car to go to the Clyde or the Avon down at Torphicen direction.
Is the stretch you fancy the one you see as you go up to the lights looking down to your right?
Let us know if you manage to cast a rod over it?
Cheers
Eddie

Yh Eddy I'm the same often dismiss it for the Avon or the Carron. Yeh it's the stretch from the lights at the cross on your right hand side, heading up to Longridge. I KNOW there used to be decent fish in it. I also have another bit of river I'd like to query if you don't mind a PM?

Years ago I heard many tales from a friend who live/lived in Longridge who caught big 2lb plus trout on a regular basis.

Dont know what its like nowadays, but as the almond in which in runs into fishes very well, would assume the Briech further down al least would fish good as well.
