This year I will be fishing on rivers for the first time. I have joined a club and now have access to some excellent local trout streams.

Normally I fish stillwaters, namely Rutland and all my flies have been tied with them in mind. I have been reading up on techniques, tackle and flies etc, specifically I am looking for recommendations for early season flies.

I hope to publish pictures of my progress and look forward to your advice.
