I want to tie my own sea trout flies which hooks should i use singles,doubles or trebles and why?thank you.

It would mostly depend on where you intend fishing, the size of fish expected and water conditions.

I would tie on all of them and tubes would be best

That way you have the 'latitude' to change up as necessary on river.
