Update on last week's tetth gnashing blank.

I fished the river again today, this time early doors. I was on the river bank not long after dawn, about 0745. The river was a bit higher after a day of drizzle.

The upshot is, spinning with a size 1 Gold mepps, I caught a good fish. I returned it, it was a seatrout (possibly salmon??) about 4-5 lb.

It was a bit coloured, a hen fish, a sort of reddish sandstone colour, with some red spots. It looked more salmon like, but with no photo - I can't be sure.
