Default Border Esk...Help please!!

Hi all,

I'm staying near to the border Esk for one night next week. I'm desperate to catch my first Sea Trout and wondered if there was any chance of a permit on the Border Esk?

I have fished a couple of Welsh rivers at night for Sea Trout but never anywhere like the Esk.

Any advice would be really welcome and if anyone knows of any day ticket water i would be really gratefull.

Also, any advice on the best beats would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

You will find all the information you need at (www.fishborderesk.co.uk)

They do an All Water Ticket where you can fish all 20 beats, it cost £129 for the week.

Many thanks MarkT,

That looks promising.

Any idea which beat is the best for a non local with little time to learn?

Thanks again
