Default Ribble/Hodder - Tonight worth a go or not??

The old mother in war is down baby sitting tonight so I'm allowed out for a few hours! I wouldn’t mind a spot of sea trout fishing. The Ribble/Hodder is my closest river! Do you recon its worth my time or have I missed the boat for this year?

PS why not try at dusk for a salmon if you want to get out?
