Hi there,

Hoping to try for sea trout on the River Till in Northumberland over the next few weeks. The angling club I'm in has access to the river on Ford & Etal estates and at Fenton - hoping for sea trout or two (or perhaps a grayling!) If anyone has any experience at these locations I would appreciate any advice -

the till at fenton can be very productive.I use to fish it alot when day tickets were available.Daytime seatrouting is good following a spate i prefer small flies like silver stoats and there variants.Coquet seatrout patterns work well on there.My fave piece of water is the flat above the burn mouth during darkness
