Default Finally done it

After many seasons of trying to catch a sewin on the fly instead of a rapala. It has finally paid off, the broken ribs form fallen down a bank last season and snapped rods this season are forgotten. An average size fish for the river ogmore but the best i have caught, even better to see the fish swim away. totally addicted to the dark late night fishing and the bug has now bitten. No weight on the fish as i didnt have my net on me but its not about the size "honest", now for a double figure.
ps excuse the ugly mug spoilng the picture

Superb knightynose - congrats. You will still get a hell of a buzz with every one that you catch in the future, but the first one on the fly in the dark is special. What did you get him on?

That is a nice fish, very nice indeed-well done. I can remember my first sea trout and feeling absolutely dumbfounded that it took my fly in the dark , I couldn't believe it. Say goodbye to normal sleep patterns for a while .

Chris.

So true. It's like a magic trick.
