i was fishing Rio i line 15gram with 3 feet floating tip with 4 feet 8lbs mono with Dee monkey half inch hitch tube with partridge size 18 large mouth double cast on 10.6" Sharpe's Gorden rod. I cast square across the pool and left the fly to swing across the current then stripping back just as it comes to dangle. i saw the fish move so i lined myself up where i saw it splash cast square across the pool as the belly of the line started to pull on the hitch making it wake i just felt the take ,it fought like a demon . I hope that i have explained enough information .
