hi ,i have just passed a fresh fish shop in lytham ,(nr blackpool) a fantastic ,3 kilo sea trout there for sale £57.00 what a waste fresh local bass £12.50 per kilo ,fresh wild salmon £27.00 a kilo

All caught in the same stake nets that are liscensed for Morecambe bay!

yes i understand that bert but it still troubles me to see such a magnificent fish laid out .also boxes of locally caught bass £12.50 a kilo laid out .what happens to all the fish what isnt sold ??

The netsman have been paid in full for catch.
Is fish monger who might take the loss, if the displayed wares havent sold within 3 days, they will be smoked and displayed again, if still no sale they will be binned.
